Since establishing herself as a professional ceramicist five years ago, Ann Van Hoey has accumulated a number of international prizes and has achieved the kind of recognition that most artists only experience after many more years in this industry. The Belgian designer left her career of twenty years to commit herself fully to ceramics. Ann Van Hoey explored her passion for the craft through travel, a degree in ceramics and workshops taught by some of the finest contemporary clay artists of our time.
